LESSON DETAILS

Thank you for choosing Glory Days Equestrian for the care and training of your horses and riders. We pride ourselves in the quality of instruction and care our clients receive, and do our best to tailor each lesson for the goals and needs of each horse and rider.  In order to keep the program running smoothly, please be aware of our rules and regulations that help us all to be successful.

Lessons are 45 minutes in length. Students are expected to arrive early to prepare their mount, and stay after their lesson ends to thoroughly groom and put their horse away. For students who do not yet know how to prepare their mount, we will assist in getting the student’s horse ready prior to the lesson. Double lessons may also be booked back to back for students who would like to learn how to tack and untack. These 90 minute introductory lessons are $100 for a 90 minute session.


punctuality

If you are running late to a lesson, please contact us to give an estimated arrival time. Students who are late will receive the remaining time of their scheduled lesson. If you are more than 15 minutes late, your lesson will be forfeited. No make up lessons will be given for lessons when you are late.


Cancellation

If you are unable to attend a lesson, we are happy to do a make up lesson at a later date if notice is given at least 24 hours prior. We reserve your time in the lesson schedule just for you, so if you are unable to attend, we need ample notice to adjust the schedule in order to keep the lessons running on time. We will always schedule a make up lesson for missed lessons if proper notice is given. Lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will be subject to full payment of the lesson.

Lessons take place rain and shine, but will be cancelled for dangerous weather situations, such as frozen ground, smokey/polluted air, or hail. In cases of inclement weather, classroom style lessons are available on a broad range of topics to dive deeper into the world of horse care and management.


SCHEDULING

Please contact Anna directly for scheduling. We do our best to accommodate changing schedules of our clients. If you have a scheduling request or know you will be out of town, please let us know as far in advance as possible and we will do our best to accommodate. Please be aware that from time to time we may request to move your lesson to a different time within a day in order to adjust for students being out of town.
